Amy is responsible to lead the teams within the Power and Natural Gas utilities across North America and Canada. Prior to leading the business development team, Amy was the head of global power prices, and content. As senior Consultant, Amy has helped multiple firms from start-up to publicly traded covering multiple commodities (crude oil, electricity and natural gas). Services: Trading and Risk Management, Wholesale, National Retail Energy, Regulatory certification, Information Systems. Such as: Just Energy, responsible to lead and manage the P&L for the North East markets for the residential portfolio with over 300,000 customers across all North East states in both natural gas and electricity. Responsibilities included supply, managing customer acquisition, retention, customer service, operations, and overall growth of the region with a $50 Million-dollar operating budget. Managed 90 employees located in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Maryland and Toronto, Canada. Entrust Energy Holdings, Inc. - Vice President Commercial Operations, Vice President Wholesale Supply Power and Natural Gas & Market Development Responsible to start up the business and its operations including regulatory certification, business operations and financing. Responsible to negotiate and supported a financing agreement of over $50MM from Japanese investors by demonstrating operational experience and controls. Revenues increased over 50% from inception over the time of my tenure, including expansion to over 35 markets in 9 states. Responsible for new business development and market entrance into deregulated markets globally, including United Kingdom, Canada, and South America. Worked on the market entrance within ERCOT, PJM, New England POOL, NYISO, California ISO and MISO, various natural gas pipelines and with over 35 Utilities within the North East markets for power and natural gas. Constellation New Energy, Inc. - Vice President of Texas Retail Division Responsible for starting up retail electric business in Texas (ERCOT), accomplish higher than expected revenues and customer growth from zero to $250 million in revenue. In addition, to Ms Gasca successful career within Energy markets and consulting, Ms. Gasca has been an Adjust Professor at the University of Houston Bauer School of Business since 2016, Amy teaches Power markets and trading to Executive and full-time Energy MBA students. Ms. Gasca holds a Master's degree in Econometrics with emphasis in foreign investments and a MBA in Information Systems from Loyola University in Chicago, a Bachelor’s degree in business and mathematics.
